About the Nursery

Native Plantscapes NW LLC has been growing and supplying native plants from our Hillsboro, Oregon nursery for over 10 years. What began as a contract growing operation supporting local restoration projects has grown into a diverse nursery dedicated to ecological restoration, habitat resilience, and helping people bring native landscapes back into everyday spaces.

We work with restoration professionals, public agencies, landscapers, and private landowners across the Willamette Valley and the greater Pacific Northwest. At the same time, we love supporting homeowners who are setting aside space in their yards for pollinators, birds, wildlife, and water-wise landscapes.

Our Growing Philosophy

The plants we grow reflect the ecological richness of this region. Many originate from wild-collected or regionally sourced seed, and whenever possible we propagate from multiple seed sources to promote genetic diversity, adaptability, and long-term ecological health.

As regional ecosystems continue to shift in response to climate change, we are continually learning and adjusting our approach. We are increasingly incorporating climate-adaptive and assisted-migration perspectives—focusing on species and seed sources that can help support resilient landscapes in the years ahead.

What We Grow

Our nursery specializes in plants suited to a range of Pacific Northwest ecosystems, including:

  • Riparian and floodplain systems

  • Emergent and freshwater wetlands

  • Upland prairie and meadow habitats

  • Forest and woodland understories

  • Residential and urban native plantings

  • Pollinator-focused garden landscapes

We currently cultivate more than 150 native species, with availability evolving seasonally as plants are propagated and grown throughout the year.

Where Our Plant Material Comes From

We maintain transparent and responsible sourcing practices. Our propagation material is either ethically collected from regional populations or sourced from reputable native plant partners who share our commitment to high-quality native plant production.

Land Acknowledgment

Our nursery operates on the traditional lands of the Atfalati-Kalapuya people. We recognize the lasting impacts of colonization, broken treaties, and systemic displacement on Indigenous communities. We remain committed to continued learning, engagement, and stewardship of the landscapes we work within.
